The 2005 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Bullseye Zakk Wylde is a highly collectible signature instrument based on Zakk Wylde's iconic Les Paul Custom design. Featuring the unmistakable black-and-white Bullseye finish, this model combines the classic Les Paul Custom construction with the high-output performance associated with Wylde's metal and hard-rock sound. Gibson's Zakk Wylde models were produced with his signature Bullseye graphics and EMG active humbuckers.
This example is especially notable for its accompanying Certificate of Authenticity (COA), publication/documentation, and claimed association with Zakk Wylde. The model features a carved maple top over a solid mahogany body, a three-piece maple neck, ebony fingerboard, gold hardware, and EMG 81/85 active humbuckers. Its 24.75" scale, 22-fret layout, and rounded neck profile provide the familiar feel of a Les Paul while its active electronics deliver the aggressive, high-gain response for which Wylde is known.
