Built in extremely limited numbers and available only through select dealers, this exclusive model captures the unmistakable spirit of Gibsons legendary Hummingbird while elevating it with premium materials and meticulous attention to detail.
At its core, this square-shoulder dreadnought features a solid Sitka spruce top paired with a mahogany body, delivering a warm, balanced tonal character with rich lows, clear mids, and a smooth, articulate high end. The traditional X-bracing enhances resonance and projection, making it equally suited for studio work, stage performance, or intimate songwriting sessions. Finished in a stunning gloss nitrocellulose lacquer Ebony, the instrument not only looks striking but allows the wood to breathe and age gracefully over time.
The mahogany neck is carved into a comfortable round profile and joined to the body with a compound dovetail joint using hot hide glueensuring optimal tonal transfer and long-term stability. A rosewood fingerboard adorned with mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays provides a classic visual touch, while the 24.75" scale length and 1.725" bone nut width offer a familiar, effortless playing experience.
