For 40 plus years, Eric Clapton has delivered some of his most notable licks with his beloved Fender Stratocasters—now it's your turn. The Eric Clapton Stratocaster from Fender gives players Clapton's preferred specs and features in a more affordable package.

This Eric Clapton Stratocaster is made from alder and comes dressed in your choice of Black, Olympic White, Pewter, or Torino Red finishes. The maple neck will sit comfortably in your fretting hand thanks to the special soft "V" shape preferred by Clapton. Players who employ a wrap-around thumb chording technique will find the V-shape profile a perfect fit to hit those bass notes. On top of it all, 22 vintage-style frets offer up a classic feel and time-tested Fender playability.

Equipped with a trio of Fender Vintage Noiseless single-coil pickups and special circuitry, the Eric Clapton Stratocaster offers the ultimate blend of classic tone with modern versatility. These pickups are designed to dish out that vintage Strat tone, but without the hum and excess noise single-coil pickups are infamous for. The electronics include a versatile 5-way pickup select, a TBX Tone control, and an active mid-boost control  that allows you to dial in up to 25dB of boost on the spot for powerful lead riffs and solos.

Finally, the Eric Clapton Stratocaster comes complete with a set of American Vintage tuners and an American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo that's blocked with an easily removable piece of wood between the tremolo block and tremolo cavity wall to keep it from moving, as requested by Clapton.
