614ce Special Edition - Trans Purple
With its gorgeous visual texture and shimmer, Big Leaf maple has always served up striking looks alongside its uniquely player-reflective sound. The 614ce Special Edition elevates that aesthetic appeal to new heights with five color choices that are sure to capture the attention of audiences on any stage. Like its standard-model sibling in the 600 Series, this Grand Auditorium boasts back and sides of solid figured Big Leaf maple paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, yielding a played-in sound with an extra dash of power and sustain coaxed out by the V-Class bracing architecture inside. Offering a warmer character than most maple guitars thanks to voicing touches developed by master guitar designer Andy Powers, the 614ce Special Edition responds differently to each player’s individual technique and style, letting musicians create a signature sound that’s all their own. For this release, we’ve opted for appointments that highlight the bold color palette, including white binding, a single-ring rosette in green abalone, Twisted Ovals fretboard inlays in Italian acrylic, gold tuning machines, ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots, and a full-body gloss finish. Each model includes built-in ES2 electronics for clean amplified acoustic sound and a deluxe hardshell case for protection.
