Description
This 12-string, 12-fret Grand Concert’s stunning visual aesthetic is matched by its remarkable sonic performance and playability. Solid, beautifully quilted Big Leaf maple back and sides are paired with a Lutz spruce top, delivering a shimmering octave response with a rich, complex character that channels each player's unique touch. The back features a 4-piece configuration with a Simons wedge made of gorgeously figured, bookmatched Hawaiian koa outlined with thin ebony strips. This model boasts a full-body gloss finish with a striking Trans Light Blue color for the neck, sides, and back (outside the koa wedge). The top features a matching color treatment enhanced with a blue shaded edgeburst.
Our V-Class interior bracing enhances volume and sustain while ensuring greater harmonic agreement between every note. Together, its compact body, slim maple neck, and shorter scale length deliver a supremely comfortable playing experience with a slinky handfeel and lower string tension, while the Florentine cutaway offers easy access to the upper register. Beautiful koa appointments include a single-ring rosette, peghead veneer, heel cap, fretboard purfling, and soundhole and body binding, along with Spiked Oval fretboard inlays in koa and paua. Paua shell also features in the peghead logo and edge trim. Other notable appointments include ultra-precise Gotoh 510 antique gold mini tuners, a black TUSQ nut, and turquoise-dotted bridge pins. This custom build is equipped with ES2 electronics and comes in a deluxe brown hardshell case.
