The Taylor Builder’s Edition 914ce LTD Macassar Ebony represents the pinnacle of Taylor’s craftsmanship, blending rare tonewoods, elevated comfort features, and world-class visual artistry. This limited-edition Grand Auditorium is built with back and sides of highly figured Macassar ebony, offering dense, powerful low-end response, rich lower mids, and crystalline trebles. Paired with an Adirondack spruce top, this model delivers exceptional dynamic range and explosive headroom—ideal for players with a strong attack or those seeking maximum tonal complexity.
Inside, Taylor’s Scalloped V-Class bracing enhances sustain, projection, and harmonic balance. The Builder’s Edition treatment adds premium ergonomic enhancements, including a beveled armrest, beveled cutaway, chamfered body edges, and Taylor’s Curve Wing bridge, ensuring a smooth, ultra-comfortable playing experience.
Visually, the 914ce LTD features a four-piece Simons wedge back, a full-body gloss finish with a Kona edgeburst (as shown in the file’s page 3 images), paua rosette, black/koa/paua top trim, and exquisite Belle Fleur inlays—all creating a uniquely luxurious aesthetic.
