To keep this not-insubstantial instrument light enough to play for hours yet resonant enough for metal, Schecter selected basswood for the body and maple for the neck. This combination gives the Stiletto Stealth plenty of punch, without limiting the low-end impact you can expect from this bass. Add to that a naturally conditioned rosewood fingerboard, and you've got killer sound and feel.

Unable to source an affordable 4-string bridge that still delivers the performance and stability serious guitarists demand, Schecter simply decided to create one.
