A show piece at the 2024 NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA earlier this year, the 35th Anniversary Signature Model is a premium Grand Concert Paradiso build showcasing premium tonewoods, custom inlays and the suite of contemporary design innovations Kevin Ryan is known for. Hand crafted with signature grade Brazilian Rosewood back and sides with master grade Western Red Cedar top, 35th Anniversary Turquoise and Black Tahitian Pearl ‘Pueblo Rose Theme’ fretboard and headstock inlay, top purfling and rosette., Black Tahitian Pearl back, sides and headstock purfling, Brazlian Rosewood fluted bevel, Ebony bindings and more. Kevin Ryan has been building guitars in southern California for 35 years. Coming from an aerospace engineering background, he has pushed the acoustic guitar toward the pinnacle of design efficiency to achieve a signature look, feel and sound beloved around the world. Innovative designs such as his fluted arm bevel, honeycomb bridgeplate, engineered laser cut trussed bracing, spherically arched back and extended scale length are some of the contemporary features found on the Paradiso. The Paradiso is the contemporary update to Ryan’s original Mission model – famous for its sweet trebles and even sustain with balanced string-to-string clarity and separation and consistent, clear articulation up and down the fretboard. The longer 25.7″ scale and comfortable body size make this perfectly suited for fingerstyle, single-note lead, light strumming, jazz, and singer/songwriter style as well as drop and alternate tunings. Other features on this very clean excellent condition 2024 35th Anniversary model include Honduran Mahogany neck, 35th Anniversary truss rod cover with Black Tahitian Pearl edge, Ebony fretboard and bridge, Gotoh ‘Ryan’ Chrome 510 tuners with Ebony buttons, Ebony pins with turquoise inlay, Ebony wedge and heelcap, bone nut and saddle, and more.
