The combination of th upgraded thin finish and the adirondack spruce top puts this instruments way above the standard martin D-28 tone.

The Adirondack Spruce top, paired with forward-shifted, scalloped Golden Era bracing, offers outstanding headroom and responsiveness, making it ideal for both aggressive strumming and articulate flatpicking. East Indian Rosewood back and sides provide deep bass, clear trebles, and complex harmonic content. Finished with a thin gloss body and satin neck, this Custom Shop dreadnought blends vintage-inspired tone with modern playability, making it a lifetime instrument for serious players and collectors alike.
