Description:
The Jackson Pro Origins 1985 San Dimas SD1 pays tribute to the iconic era when Jackson guitars ruled the Sunset Strip and fueled the rise of shred. Built in Ensenada with precision and pride, this model resurrects the legendary 1985 San Dimas vibe with modern reliability and top-tier performance.
Featuring a resonant alder body and a lightning-fast maple neck reinforced with graphite, this SD1 delivers explosive tone and extreme stability. The compound-radius ebony fingerboard provides smooth chording down low and effortless bending up high. Its Seymour Duncan® JB bridge humbucker and Hot Rails® neck pickup recreate authentic '80s metal attitude—tight lows, scorching highs, and searing sustain.
Finished in a striking Yellow Bengal graphic and equipped with a top-mounted Floyd Rose® 1000 double-locking tremolo, this guitar is built to dive-bomb, shred, and scream with total confidence. The Pro Origins 1985 series honors Jackson’s rich legacy while offering unmatched modern playability for today's metal players.
