Gibson Custom Shop SJ-200 Monarch Rosewood Modern Collection Antique Natural - SJ2MTBG19

AAA Indian rosewood body, AAA Sitka spruce top, AAA 2-piece maple neck with ebony fretboard, engraved gold Waverly tuners, and lavish mother of pearl and abalone inlays.

The King of the Flat-Tops in Full Regalia

First created in the mid-1990s, the SJ-200 Monarch has become the ultimate custom edition of Gibson’s world-famous Super Jumbo acoustic guitar. This museum-worthy masterpiece SJ-200 Monarch Rosewood is truly a one-of-a-kind art piece. Due to the considerable amount of handwork and customization done by our highly skilled artisans, the SJ-200 Monarch is an exceedingly rare model from the Gibson Custom team in Bozeman, Montana, and each one is individually and sequentially numbered on the back of the headstock near the serial number. The SJ-200 Monarch Rosewood features AAA Indian rosewood back and sides, a AAA Sitka spruce top, a AAA maple neck with a rounded profile and ebony fretboard, and is lavishly appointed with mother of pearl and abalone inlays, including the stunningly detailed Monarch Crown inlays on the fretboard, the mother of pearl on the four-bar Moustache™ bridge, the abalone on the multi-ply binding, the mother of pearl Gibson script headstock logo, and the mother of pearl and abalone truss rod cover and Monarch Crown inlay on the headstock. The famous SJ-200 pickguard is also adorned with an abalone border and dots. Even the serial number is presented as an engraving on a mother-of-pearl arrow inlay on the rear of the headstock. The tuners are engraved gold Waverly open gear units. The nut, bridge saddle, and bridge pins are all bone. Lovingly made by the master luthiers and craftspeople of Gibson Custom in Bozeman, Montana, a Gibson Custom hardshell case is also included to keep this King of the Flat-Tops that is worthy of royalty safe and secure when not in use.

We have one of these on route from Gibson.  Your chance to secure one of the most sought after Gibson Acoustics made.  They are aprox. 2 years back order.
