This Gibson M2M 1961 Les Paul SG Standard Reissue is a highly detailed, historically accurate recreation of the earliest SG models—built under the original “Les Paul” name. Featuring a 1-piece mahogany body and a razor-thin 1961 Authentic D-shape neck profile, this SG delivers the fast feel and lively resonance that defined the early ’60s era.
Finished in a stunning Ebony with Ultra Light Aged treatment and additional antique detailing, it carries subtle lacquer checking and patina for an authentic vintage appearance. Custombucker pickups provide true PAF-inspired clarity, warmth, and dynamic response. With premium hardware, ABR-1 brass saddles, and classic black top hat knobs, this M2M build represents top-level Custom Shop craftsmanship paired with the iconic SG sound and silhouette.
