Remarkable sound

Sound is the most important consideration for Furch guitars. Their excellent acoustic qualities are the result of state-of-the art technologies, proprietary production processes and precision craftsmanship combined with the use of the best available tonewoods. The Red Master’s Choice is no fluke. Hear its exceptional sound quality for yourself with Tonepedia’s app. You can compare its unique sound with other Furch models and also guitars from other manufacturers.

Unique voicing process

The premium nature of the Red Master’s Choice is underscored by the fact that both the soundboard and the back plate are individually tuned using the voicing process, our proprietary technology that enhances the instrument’s tonal properties to the highest level. Thanks to that, the Red Master’s Choice is a crystalline clear, harmonically rich, balanced, and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.

Resonance enhancing finish

The instrument is protected by our proprietary Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish, which has been developed to enhance the guitar’s tonal qualities. The finish consists of an ultrathin layer of highly resistant lacquer that provides excellent surface protection and accentuates the structure of the wood at the same time.

Highest-quality material

The Red Master’s Choice is made from master grade tonewoods. The soundboard features Sitka spruce, which lends the guitar beautifully bright and open sound. The back and sides are made from Indian rosewood.

Furch CNR System® Neck Design

A high precision, dual-action truss rod maintains neck stability and allows for fine adjustment of the neck relief, bilaterally. The truss rod is housed in a highly rigid carbon casing which enables a very smooth and controlled neck relief, ensuring the best playability and enduring optimal setup.

A fully adjustable dual-action truss rod for highly precise adjustment of the neck bow in both the convex and concave directions.

A highly rigid carbon casing that maintains the neck in the set position over a period much longer than is the case with standard neck joint designs and, at the same time, facilitates a gradual bow in the neck, a factor of essential importance for playability.

A casting made of special alloy located inside the neck heel that ensures a stable position of the neck and its angle vis-à-vis the body.

Exotic ziricote

The bridge, fingerboard and headstock overlay are made from exotic wood ziricote, which beautifully contrasts with the spruce soundboard.

Premium rosette made from koa

The soundhole is adorned by a rosette featuring a premium solid koa ring with a green abalone inlay. Koa is also used on tail decoration and body, fingerboard and headstock binding.

Exotic leaf inlays

The fingerboard is adorned with gorgeous mother-of-pearl leaf front inlays. A similar pattern is rendered in green abalone on the headstock.

Excellent machine heads

The Red Master’s Choice has an excellent tuning stability courtesy of Gotoh 510 Silver Patina machine heads with polished ebony buttons and a highly precise 1:21 gear ratio.

LR Baggs Stagepro Anthem system

The Red Master’s Choice comes with LR Baggs Stagepro Anthem pickup with the control panel mounted in the side of the guitar to provide easy access to the battery, and built-in three-band equalizer. The mix control allows blending the sound from the microphone and the undersaddle pickup. Additional tone shaping features include bass and treble controls, phase inversion, a notch filter, and highly efficient feedback suppression.

High-rigidity Hiscox case

Maximum protection during transport is provided by a high-rigidity Hiscox case with polyurethane insulating foam that shields the instrument from changes in external climatic conditions.
