Product Overview
Fender "Strat" with Maple Fretboard 1980s - Sapphire Blue USED
ULTRA RARE in this Color.
This Strat features a 25 1/2" scale length, solid Alder body with Sapphire Blue finish (the clear coat has aged giving the color a slightly green tone) white 3-ply pickguard, gold plated hardware, equipped with it's original trio of X-1 single coil pickups with flat pole pieces, master volume, master tone and a 2-way rotary switch for 4 additional tones (the first and fifth position of the 5-way switch sound thin when the rotary switch is engaged, the other 3 positions sound great), gold plated "F" knobs, gold plated "Fender USA" branded tremolo tailpiece with six adjustable saddles and original gold plated trem arm. The medium sized Maple neck features a comfortable soft-V shape profile measuring .810" deep at the first fret and .900" deep at the twelfth fret. Width at the nut measures 1 5/8". The Maple fingerboard features a 7 1/4" radius, black dot inlaid fret markers and 21 original medium jumbo frets. The frets show just a bit of play wear and have lots of life left. The neck is straight and plays great. The truss rod is accessible at the heel of the neck and functions properly. Overall Great condition.
