Fender Limited-Edition Master Built Dave Murray Stratocaster® (1 of 70 Worldwide)
To mark Iron Maiden’s 50th Anniversary, legendary guitarist Dave Murray teamed up with Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Andy Hicks to evolve Murray’s iconic Stratocaster into a refined, road-ready “#1” instrument.
This is a single, one-time production run available only through Fender Custom Shop Showcase Dealers. Just 70 guitars will be made for the entire world—and we’re allocated one. Pre-orders are open now, with guitars expected to begin shipping in Q3 2026. Once this run sells out, it’s gone for good.
The build starts with a 2-piece select alder body finished in NOS Olympic White under a high-gloss polyester topcoat. It’s matched to an oil-finished walnut neck carved to a comfortable ’60s-style Oval “C” profile. The 3A rosewood fingerboard features a 9.5”–14” compound radius and 21 medium jumbo stainless-steel frets, designed to feel fast and effortless for both rhythm and lead work.
For tone, Murray’s trusted pickup lineup is here: Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the neck and bridge positions, plus a JB Jr. in the middle, delivering punchy, high-output Strat performance with plenty of clarity for articulate riffs and soaring leads.
To handle the demands of touring, this model includes a set of premium stability and performance upgrades, including AxLabs components and an extensive suite of FU-Tone hardware (including a big brass block and several titanium and locking parts throughout the trem system).
Finishing touches include a Dave Murray signature neck plate, vintage-style tuners, and Fender Custom Shop essentials: deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity.
