Vintage-Inspired Tonewoods and Construction
The foundation of this Closet Classic's vintage-approved tone starts with a select 2-piece alder body. Alder's balanced resonance and harmonically rich overtones give the Strat its unmistakable chime. The quartersawn maple neck provides clarity and sustain, while the round-laminated rosewood fingerboard offers warmth and articulation. With its '60s-era medium-jumbo frets, bone nut and 25.5" scale length, you'll enjoy effortless playability across the entire neck.
Custom Shop Hand-Wound '65 Single-Coil Pickups
Meticulously crafted by Fender's elite builders, the hand-wound '65 single-coil pickups are a revelation. The vintage-spec'd Formvar wire and Alnico V magnets authentically reproduce every nuance of the coveted '65 Strat tones.
