Description
This exceptional instrument represents the pinnacle of Fender craftsmanship, masterbuilt by legendary Custom Shop Master Builder Todd Krause. The guitar features a lightweight alder body with a Journeyman Relic finish, exhibiting carefully simulated play wear and aging that tells the story of a cherished vintage instrument.
The quarter-sawn maple neck has a period-correct early '60s "C" profile, topped with a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard featuring 21 vintage-style frets. The neck is finished in a lightly worn nitrocellulose lacquer that provides the smooth, played-in feel of a vintage instrument.
The hardware showcases premium gold-plated components, including vintage-style tuners, a synchronized tremolo bridge, and era-correct small parts. All hardware has been carefully aged to match the Journeyman Relic treatment.
Electronics include three hand-wound Custom Shop '62 single-coil pickups, meticulously crafted to capture the coveted tone of original 1962 Stratocasters. The standard 5-way pickup selector and vintage wiring scheme deliver classic Stratocaster tones, from glassy neck position clarity to aggressive bridge pickup bite.
