Information
Made for only a brief moment from about the mid '70s until around 1980, the 2281 Elvin Bishop was Electra's first professional endorsement model. This gorgeous semi-hollow body features beautiful flame maple figuring along with a Tree of Life fingerboard inlay.
Neck: Wide, flat profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with abalone/mother of pearl Tree of Life inlay. Bound headstock with Electra diecast tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow flame maple body with dual F-holes. Stop tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge & 4-ply black pickguard.
